What we collect
When you place an order with us, we collect:
- Your name and shipping address (to ship the order).
- Your email address (to send order confirmations and updates).
- Your phone number, if you provide one (used only if a courier cannot deliver).
- Payment details, entered directly into Stripe's hosted checkout, never on our servers. We see only the last four digits and the transaction reference.
We do not collect special-category data (health, ethnicity, etc.). We do not use behavioural advertising trackers.
Why we collect it
The legal basis for processing your data is performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), we need the data to fulfil your order. A small amount of additional processing is based on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)), for example, retaining your purchase history for warranty and returns handling.
Who we share it with
We share the minimum data necessary with the following processors:
- Stripe (Ireland), payment processing.
- Courier (DHL Express, PostNL), name, address, phone number, parcel weight.
- Hosting provider, EU-based servers process IP addresses and user agents.
We do not sell your data, ever, under any circumstance.
How long we keep it
We retain order records for seven years after the order, as required by Dutch tax law. Newsletter subscribers are kept until they unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, and port your data, and to complain to your local Data Protection Authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with subject "Privacy request". We respond within one month, free of charge.
